Am Flatland Circuit finals to be held in Columbus at The TerraDome training facility on October 26, 2013.

Columbus, Ohio August 10, 2013 - QuestBMX presents “GuruJam 2013” as the final stop on the Am Flatland Circuit (http://amflatlandcircuit.com) 2013 series of BMX Flatland contests on October 26 in Columbus, Ohio.

The competition will be open to novice, veteran, expert, and professional classes and is expected to draw competitors from North America and Europe.

The live-audience event is being live streamed over the web for fans across the globe, and features Zack “Catfish” Yankush as the MC. BMX riders and fans from everywhere admire Catfish for his active role in promoting BMX over TV, social media, and personal appearances at events and local skateparks.

Competitors will be judged by an all-star panel of celebrated X-Games athletes: Chad DeGroot who was voted #14 on Ride BMX's "20 Most Influential Riders of the Last 20 Years," Effraim Catlow who now runs the largest flatland blog, FlatMattersOnline, and Bryan Huffman, the legendary rider from North Carolina.

The venue for the event, The TerraDome, is a modern industrial building that has been repurposed for flatland BMX riding featuring a large laser-leveled concrete floor and an observation deck. The TerraDome moniker comes from “Terra” referring to Earth / land and “Dome” referring to an enclosure. It has become internationally renowned as a perfect riding space amongst enthusiasts.

“October 26 will be a great day for flatland, both the World Circuit (in Japan) finals and American Circuit (in Columbus) finals will be webcast one after the other. The level of riding is going to be absolutely astounding, and I’m eager to see what these guys can do on such a perfect floor.” said Joe Cicman, principle organizer of the contest.

A registration form, competition guidelines, and awards information will be available on the competition web site http://gurujam2013.com. Summary event details are also available on the Am Flatland Circuit site (http://amflatlandcircuit.com/amflt_v2/round-4/).
